[ixpmanager] MRTG Questions

(I like giving follow-up posts so future Googlers can hopefully find it before asking.) 

I was getting "2015-05-24T23:23:16-04:00 NOTICE (5) [65.182.164.62]: Could not load /srv/mrtg/ixp_peering-m-ix-indy-bits-month.png for mrtg/retrieveImageAction". 

I then noticed that the only contents of /srv/mrtg was the members folder. 

I noticed that MRTG wasn't running, though I swore I had started it. I start it and it gives me an error, "CFG file (/etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg) does not make sense." 

I then found this post, "https://www.inex.ie/pipermail/ixpmanager/2014-June/000354.html" from last year where Barry pointed out there were spaces present. I checked the line MRTG was complaining about and sure enough, I had spaces in the switch name. I removed the space and MRTG started up just fine. 

It's making pretty pictures again.

You should check the logs for this: both the web server logs and the IXP 
Manager applications logs. The IXP Manager logs are located in the var/log 
subdir in your IXP Manager installation directory.
