Okay, so if it's L2 data, it'll get caught my MRTG and if it's L3 data, it'll get caught by sflow. Got it.

All true. In the future, they may do the same things in which case
ordering will become important. Or, possibly, other database parameters
to allow overrides.

MRTG does not do l3 and sflow does not do l2 so it'll "just work".

Docs are a work in progress. Grapher doesn't add much new just yet but
provides the framework to do some major new things.
