[ixpmanager] SNMP Debugging

I used an IP address.
Is there an error log that I can cat/tail to find out what's happening in
the background?
I may be overlooking something obvious but it's hard to tell without more
information.

is the switch Hostname field set to something that is either an IP
address or a valid dns hostname? This is used by the SNMP module and
there's always been an ambiguity about which field to use here (Name or
Hostname).
