I can't reproduce this:

$ git checkout 17f714d29d8bdcc3c321b8b9ee9504606588de0a
$ ./artisan doctrine:generate:proxies
$ git status database
HEAD detached at v4.7.3
nothing to commit, working tree clean


I.e. not changes from what's in Git.

Regardless, this still stands:
