[ixpmanager] Error during upgrade

Started to upgrade, forgot root mysql password so reset it now get error:

/srv/ixpmanager/vendor/doctrine/dbal/lib/Doctrine/DBAL/Driver/AbstractMySQLDriver.php
Line103MessageAn exception occured in driver: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access
denied for user 'ixpmanager'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Problem is, I can login with the credentials in /srv/ixpmanager/.env
Thoughts?
