Subject: Re: [ixpmanager] upgrade bird1 to bird2
Hi,
So, I have the deployment write this:
$ cat /etc/profile.d/birdc.sh
alias birdc4='/usr/sbin/birdc -s /run/bird-ipv4.ctl'
alias birdc6='/usr/sbin/birdc -s /run/bird-ipv6.ctl'
Then, anyone logging in (with bash as their shell) can use the birdc4 or
birdc6 aliases:
ichilton at rs2:~$ birdc4 show route count
BIRD 2.0.7 ready.
111831 of 111831 routes for 104071 networks in table master4
0 of 0 routes for 0 networks in table master6
210124 of 210124 routes for 193827 networks in table t_roa
Total: 321955 of 321955 routes for 297898 networks in 3 tables
ichilton at rs2:~$ birdc6 show route count
BIRD 2.0.7 ready.
0 of 0 routes for 0 networks in table master4
41021 of 41021 routes for 37749 networks in table master6
34402 of 34402 routes for 32524 networks in table t_roa
Total: 75423 of 75423 routes for 70273 networks in 3 tables
Hope that helps.
Ian
