If you read the documentation here:

we advise:
> You are strongly advised to use / request a 16-bit ASN from your RIR
> for route server use. If you do not, you will be unable to offer your
> members standard community based filtering.
I'm not sure we have ever sanitisied the Bird configuration for 32-bit
ASNs but we really really would advise a 16-bit ASN for route servers
still as many people are still running older (stable) versions of
routing software that do not support RFC 8195:
