it would break the default rfc1997 community set.  This could be worked 
around fairly easily, but it doesn't look like the template would 
function properly as-is.

That said, Barry is right about using a 16-bit ASN for the route server.

There is still a large deployment of routers out there which doesn't 
support large BGP communities - most notoriously Mikrotik.  If you use a 
32-bit asn for the route server, you're going to prevent these people 
from being able to control their route propagation, which is a bad thing.
