[ixpmanager] How to migrate a member port between switches

Currently our procedure is:
- add the new physical port to the existing VLAN interface
- ignore the warning saying that this is not supported because the ports 
  are in different switches
- move the fiber
- remove the old physical port

This works fine, EXCEPT that the 
v4/provisioner/layer2interfaces/switch-name/$switch.json API endpoint 
returns the wrong interface name for the new switch, and this prevents 
automatically generating the configuration.

Is this an API bug which could be fixed?
Is there a different procedure which works better?
