1) The default advertisements for Ubuntu cloud services. Yes, I know they can be disabled, but they have been expanding rather than staying static.
2) The whole snap vs packages fiasco, and the movement towards preferring snaps over debs.
3) PXE installs of Ubuntu went belly-up. I spent a good amount of time trying to get 22.04 installer to work with PXE. PXE is something we use extensively here. New installer tends to segfault. Leaving the Debian installer for something that crashes isn’t great. It isn’t designed for network installation.
4) Bloat of the system keeps expanding. Debian remains streamlined. I’d rather have a minimal install that I add what I need, than something that tries to predict what I need.
