[ixpmanager] Wrong values MRTG Max

Hello Mauricio,

I have no knowledge of how IXP Manager generates the MRTG graphs; haven’t played with this (yet). But I’ve used MRTG extensively in the past.

Something is fishy with the displayed data.

your “current” value is exactly the same in all graphs, although they were generated at different points in time - for me that’s never the case, and for me these values are part of the generated graph PNG, i.e. represent the reality at the time the graph was produced - which is not in line with your timestamps in the graphs.
your “month” graph shows different data than your “week” graph.

Giving that last comment a further thought, your “day” and “week” graphs are missing the “max” values. You only show the average values, whereas your month and year graphs do show maximums. These are your pink and dark green lines on the graph - the light green and blue lines are your averages, typically over 5 min if you haven’t changed anything.

Hence, the “max” values could very well be correct, and they match what is displayed in the month/year graphs, but this information is not visible in the day and week graphs.

Which leaves still the “current” values somehow odd as being exactly identical on all graphs… have you played with the commands/parameters to generate the graphs?

Cheers

Michel
